We warm-blooded animals maintain our body temperature relatively constant, regardless of environmental conditions, enabling us to carry out vital activities throughout the year. Throughout 2025, we have worked persistently in various directions:

Claiming the extension of the Natural Park’s boundaries to the maritime and terrestrial zone so that more at-risk areas are preserved and participating in its Strategic Plan as an environmental entity.

Contributing to the presentation days of the future Municipal Management Plan (POUM) of Pals with the contribution of observations for the benefit of everyone, nature and the environment.

Disseminating information about the negative impact of offshore wind and the current massive maritime traffic in the Bay of Pals with sensitive fauna and flora, the release of chemicals, noise pollution, ultrasound or electrocution that affects cetaceans and other marine species.

Promoting the restructuring of the dunes in Platja de Pals, with the design of sand traps, where the little ones have learned in a practical way the values ​​of habitats and teamwork.

Among warm-blooded animals we find mammals. Some of them hibernate in a state of lethargy and deep disconnection during this time of year.

But we encourage you to stay vigilant to stop the threats that exist.
